Communication with the host was excellent so we had access codes for accommodation and room even though we arrived when no one was there. Room was spacious and great air conditioning.

The whole experience was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful with nothing seeming too much trouble. We had our own terrace which overlooked the pool area which for a hotel of this size was awesome, with spa type facilities and loungers. There was a communal kitchen which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. A simple Spanish style breakfast was available which was excellent value at €4 pp. We were traveling by motorbike and parking was also excellent value at €5/day (Cars €10). Will definitely use again if we visit Mérida in the future.

the hostal was amazing. incredible location, in the heart of Mérida. the room was gorgeous, very clean and cozy. not hot at all even if it was 39° outside. the staff were really nice, they let us keep our luggages while visiting the city even after check-out. recommended for couples and families!

Excellent accommodation, the hostel is located near the center in a quiet area. There is a supermarket and several bars nearby. A small, cozy room with everything you need (towels, toiletries, hair dryer and air conditioner. The room has very comfortable beds and pillows. If you are traveling as a couple, I recommend taking a room with a terrace. There were no free places in the parking lot (you need to book in advance), but there was a free place right in front of the hostel Breakfast is brought to the room, so I recommend taking the terrace, or giving up breakfast in the hostel and having breakfast in a nearby bar.

Very helpful host who spoke excellent English. He did our washing for only 5 euros which was a huge bonus. Comfortable, warm room. Hot water and a peaceful night. Very near to supermarkets, restaurants and centre of Merida. Would recommend, especially to pilgrims walking the Via de la Plata.
