The room was beautiful and very clean. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the bottle of wine and chocolates that were left to enjoy. The host was very welcoming and kindly accommodated my early check in. And the breakfast at a nearby cafe was one of the better breakfasts I’ve had during my time in Spain! I would absolutely stay here if I am in Logroño again.

Easy enough location for walking the Camino. Totally private room, no communal areas if that is important to you. Good shower, wifi in the room. Quiet.

Set on the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage Route, Hostal La Numantina offers 24-hour reception, free luggage storage and free Wi-Fi. Sta. Mª de La Redonda Procathedral is 300 metres away.

This was my favourite place to stay on my Camino pilgrimage so far. After a long day of walking it was refreshing to be greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were immaculately presented. There was a lovely reception area where you could sit and relax. Complimentary coffee and a muffin. Central and near the Camino route. I wanted to stay another night but no vacancies.

The family-run Pensión Calfred II is just 10 minutes’ walk from the old town of Logroño. It offers great value rooms. All accommodation at the Calfred II is practical and light.

This property is room only however it is in the middle of Logroño town with many coffee shops, bars and cafes on your doorstep. Our room was spotless and was cleaned daily. It has a nice shower room and has a flat screen tv. Also very welcome is a ceiling fan, as are the blackout shutters which can be left down during the day still allowing air to flow whilst leaving the windows open. The room is very secure with a locked downstairs door, then another to the landing with our room and finally the room itself. The beds are firm but comfortable and once the windows are closed you can't hear a thing. The reception staff made us welcome supplying us with a town map suggesting places to visit. The property is just a 10 minute walk to the world famous calle de laurel and the not so famous but just as good if not better as only the Spanish seem to know about it calle san juan.

Location was excellent - quiet street yet bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes. Staff were friendly, helpful and responded to our request for a room on a high floor. Breakfast, included in our rate, could not be faulted; a typical Spanish one with cheese, ham, cereals, bread roolls and pastries, with more than ample food always available.

Hostal Meson Pepa offers a la carte restaurant serving traditional La Rioja dishes, and heated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Free luggage storage, and a free public parking is available on-site.

I loved the private little balcony. Great friendly bar/restaurant a few doors down the street. The host met me with my keys. She was very kind and accommodating. I just shared this with my fellow pilgrams on the Camino, if they need to dodge bad weather and get a good nights sleep, like I did.
