Location: In the heart of the historical center of Cuenca (UNESCO Heritage Site) in the pedestrian zone, no need for a car to explore the historical part, everything is located within 5-15 min walk (and no need to climb). There is no car access to the hotel. If you come by car enter the Mangana parking drilled in the rock (you will see an entrance tunnel at the left). The elevator takes you and your bags up to the street (level 7) just at the corner of the Seminario. For the entrance go about 200m along the wall of the building to the next corner. Hotel: it’s a modern 4 star hotel put into a historical building. Historical interiors in the common space and modern rooms. Looks that is an active seminary. Room: large, modern, a working space, there is a dresser in the wardrobe that may be used as a comfortable bag rack for 2 bags; electric sockets: easy accessible, pair of sockets at each side of the bed; lighting: very good. Bed: large and comfortable; double bed consists of two large single beds put together. Bathroom: large, comfortable, accessible, heated, full size electric socket, enough space for your toiletries. Breakfast: Excellent buffet breakfast, large selection, very good quality. WiFi: Good. Parking: Manzana, paid 15€ per night, take a parking ticket to the hotel to certify it for this special rate.

We loved the location, decor and views from the posada. The room was simple/minimalist but very nice too. The room was also clean, quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is exactly in the tourist center of Cuenca. I got the roof room which has an amazing view of the cliff. The room is very clean and spacious. And the hotel owner is very nice and friendly. She recomended several nice and typical places to eat and see around Cuenca.

The location is wonderful, right in the center of the historic city and within walking distance of any place that attracts with its beauty. The view from the window is simply breathtaking. Quiet. The bed & pillows were comfortable. There is armoire with some hangers; always a plus. There is hot water, soap & towels. It's a 20-minute walk to the bus station. There is a TV & air-conditioner but I didn't use either. One can catch the bus to the train station at the Cervantes bus stop; about 15 minutes from the hostel. Plaza Mayor and Cuenca Cathedral is a good 35-minute walk, mostly up the side of a mountain.

Hostal Rual is located in Cuenca, less than 1 km from Mangana Tower, a 12-minute walk from Nuestra Señora de Gracia's Cathedral, and less than 1 km from Cuenca Train Station.
