It was in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. Puck and her team at the guest house were very attentive and friendly. Abina was always there for us helping us out with all we needed for our room. Yasser made the mistake of delicious bread for breakfast. On our first morning we arrived early of the ferry crossing and wandered through the little lane ways assisted by the locals … it was so heartwarming and then we met Yasser and he made us feel instantly at home . The smell of the freshly baked bread was just so so nice . He made us feel instantly at right at home . Later that evening we met Puck again so welcoming and friendly. Loved our stay in a lovely comfortable cheery room looking out onto a lovely tropical garden..

The place is really new, all is painted in white, very clean, new furniture, great bed and very comfortable mattress, bed linen all white and fresh, also the towels. The room is totally worth the price, is even better than you except, it fulfills the european standars ( like german clean hotel). The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are also very quiet, a thing that is hard to find in Egypt. The wifi works perfectly, each room has a smart tv, you can use your Netflix account in case all the programs ( also many with american movies in english) are not enough. They have a terrace above with a beautiful view over the river where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very nice, it is traditional, but also they can make the eggs the way you like. The guest house is brand new, is a family business owned by JJ and Mona, who are amazing people, they take care of everything you need and are very warm, kind and welcoming people. They speak also good english so is very easy to get all the information you need. They offer services also for trips, to go visit the nubian village, the botanical garden or take a felucca ride for sunset at very good price. They are honest people. I talked to them a lot and are very open. I have been to many places and I can make a difference between a host who really cares about the wellbeing of the customers and the one who just does it for the business, definitely JJ and Mona are genuine carrying people. We loved them.

Once we arrived we decided to extend our stay & we wish we could have stayed even longer! The best place we have stayed at whilst being in Egypt. Everything was perfect from beginning till end, Bibo went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable & unforgettable. My partner was very unwell when we arrived in Aswan - from the airport pickup, to getting our luggage onto the island & settling in, we were looked after & provided with the most incredible hospitality from Sido & Bibo. The breakfast & dinner which is cooked by Bibo’s mother is to die for & the convenience of eating on the rooftop after a big day of exploring is something else. The Nubian people are warm & welcoming & if you need directions just ask the local kids, they will sort you out! The island is a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Egypt life and is easily reached by the public ferry. There is also a beautiful swimming & sunset spot on the Nile just a short walk from the guesthouse. 10/10 - do yourself a favour & stay at Nubian Soul Guesthouse, cannot recommend enough!

The guesthouse is wonderful! Very clean place, hot water, close to the Nile river. Ahmed is amazing. A very honest, kind, solicitous and helpful. He helped us organizing all the tours we did. He and his guesthouse deserve a 10/10.

The unique location in the village was fantastic. The rooms were new and very clean. Clean sheets and towels were provided. The greatest highlight was the traditional seating area on the terrace. It was very relaxing to just sit there and enjoy the views of the Nile. Food was homemade and fresh and delicious. The host took care of everything personally and we felt very comfortable. We strongly recommend a stay at NUBA HEART when at Aswan.

We very liked Abu Guest House. Abu and the staff (Abu's family) is very friendly and always available and helpful (giving advices). We also recommend the excursions that they are proposing: visit of Botanic garden, tombs of nobles, Nubian village. The Elephantine island is a quiet place that we liked very much. Thanks to Abu for his hospitality. We felt like at home.
