The place is really new, all is painted in white, very clean, new furniture, great bed and very comfortable mattress, bed linen all white and fresh, also the towels. The room is totally worth the price, is even better than you except, it fulfills the european standars ( like german clean hotel). The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are also very quiet, a thing that is hard to find in Egypt. The wifi works perfectly, each room has a smart tv, you can use your Netflix account in case all the programs ( also many with american movies in english) are not enough. They have a terrace above with a beautiful view over the river where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very nice, it is traditional, but also they can make the eggs the way you like. The guest house is brand new, is a family business owned by JJ and Mona, who are amazing people, they take care of everything you need and are very warm, kind and welcoming people. They speak also good english so is very easy to get all the information you need. They offer services also for trips, to go visit the nubian village, the botanical garden or take a felucca ride for sunset at very good price. They are honest people. I talked to them a lot and are very open. I have been to many places and I can make a difference between a host who really cares about the wellbeing of the customers and the one who just does it for the business, definitely JJ and Mona are genuine carrying people. We loved them.

The staff they were super kind, help me with everything. The room is quite big and clean. The location on the west bank, what for me was more interesting, is a small village, relax place and great view for Nile and the city. The owner ABU personally drove his own boat to the dock to pick us up, the Nile in the sunset is very beautiful. The hotel is located on a small island next to a mango grove and the rooms are very clean. We sat on the terrace with the moonlight and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Amazing stay! The guest house is located perfectly with nice restaurants and a small supermarket very close by. The rooms were really clean, and the staff were exceptional, especially Mohammad, who welcomed us to the hotel and made sure our time there was pleasant. He also helped us book tours around Aswan. Which made our short time spent there worth while. Would definitely recommend booking the tours if you only have 1 or 2 days to explore. You also get to enjoy the amazing views of the Nile from the Terrace for the sunrise or sunset. Highly recommended to stay at La Terrace. 10/10
