Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Great location. Beautiful little place

We had a wonderful experience in Las Galeras, and a big part of it was thanks to Dario, an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. From the very first moment, he welcomed us warmly and ensured that we had everything we needed to feel at home. The accommodation he provided was simply perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and set in a breathtaking natural environment. The area is peaceful and far from mass tourism, making it not only beautiful but also incredibly pleasant. It was the ideal retreat to relax after spending our days exploring the stunning beaches nearby. Dario didn’t just offer us the best possible conditions for our stay—he constantly made sure we had great recommendations on how to make the most of our time in Las Galeras. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered hidden gems and explored some of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. The excursions he suggested were spectacular, taking us to breathtaking locations we would have never found on our own. His kindness, availability, and passion for the place made our experience even more authentic and unforgettable. It’s rare to find a host so attentive and caring! Ronald is one of a kind host. He really worries about his guests. One day I went for a difficult hike and it took me the whole day, so he thought I got in trouble and went on his scooter to look for me. He was ready to go all the way to Fronton Beach to save me.....Incredible! Luckily we met in the middle of the road)))) Next day when I left he gave me a ride to the main road. He also made coffee for his guests every morning and shared delicious fruit. I never met a hotel owner who cared about anything but money....This guy is a real knight! He also has lots of cats and dogs who live by his property and he takes care of them

This place is paradise located in a very beatyfull and quiet garden . Close to the towncenter, and the nice restaurants on the beach. A 3 min walking distance to the nearest beach. The manager was exstreamly helpfull and the staff very friendly and made us feel at home. We higly recommend the cosy small houses with a local touch of colonial style and atmosphere.
