Friendly staff in a pension setup little bit outside the city centre. Parking not on site (as mentioned on booking) but very possible in the surrounding area. Good point to go walking to local monument or Wartburg.

Staying in a historical villa gave us an insight into the other historical villas in Eisenach. Our host provided us with insights and tips about the area and told us of some of her experiences in the old East Germany. She drove us to a nearby Chinese restaurant. The house is well situated and quiet. We were offered free toiletries and dressing gowns.

The property is a close walk to the train station, and also very close into the heart of town. The man who worked here is very friendly and helpful, gave us great information (using a translation app as we don’t speak German) and also helpfully swapped change for us when we needed to use the laundromat (the laundromat is separate to the Accom). The apartment is spotlessly clean and cosy, and well equipped to cook dinner or breakfast (they have tea coffee salt pepper sugar and oil which was useful). We also went for dinner at Michelangelo pizzeria, which you get 10% off if you’re a guest, and the food and drinks were delicious and the staff lovely.

The hosts were very friendly. We had a comfortable room overlooking the forest, and breakfast was good. I cannot fault the accommodation and highly recommend it.
