Very clean, beautifully presented and well maintained. The staff were all fantastic and did their very best to accommodate my poor German vocabulary! The room was cleaned daily, mini bar restocked and towels changed as and when required. The pool was lovely but unfortunately the sauna was off when I went to try it. Location was off the Main Street but not by much, a 10 min walk from the train/bus station.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

This guest house is a historic building dating back to the 1936 Winter Olympics. The Olympiahaus is located directly beside the ski jumps in the Bavarian winter resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

OMG ...the location is superb ...right in front of the ski slopes .... so convenient to go to the gorge or just walk around ... free parking inside the premises ... we had a huge room with a balcony which also had a table where we had lunch ... and the restaurant actually did a room service !!!! .... Food was great ... if you are going there please have the Meatloaf & the Texas Burger ...droolworthy !!

Amazing stay in 4-bed room. We had enough space, beds were comfortable, everything was perfectly clean. We came later in the day so the owner Anca left as key and all the information in the envelope attached on the door so checking in went smoothly. The breakfast was amazing! Very delicious and fresh!

We arrived on the very first day of the hotel’s reopening after renovations. They are still finishing some work, but everything in the room was brand new, fresh, with soft clean bedding and a beautiful view. When we arrived at check-in time, we were asked to wait for two more hours, but later they kindly gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and helpful — thank you to her, and we wish the team good luck with finishing the renovations!

The apartment was exceptional with the majestic view of Mountain Karwendel right from the balcony. We were on a short weekend trip to Mittenwald during Halloween and everything in the apartment was perfect. The trails to the lakes started just 100 meters from the apartment. We did not have a car but had no issues to reach the apartment since it is just 1.3kms up from the train station. The walk through the town and up to the apartment was beautiful.
