I really liked this hotel. It is a straightforward, affordable, place to stay in a great city. Being on a bike tour, the fact that the hotel has a garage for bicycles equipped with tools was a very welcome surprise. The room was basic but well laid out with a good desk and an adjoining en-suite. Breakfast was a buffet with ample choice. I had an excellent Turkish meal in a restaurant close to the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel is less than a few km away from the Rhine cycle path.

Very welcoming and super friendly owner. We arrived soaking wet from a thunderstorm on the Rheinsteig trail and we were greeted with warm drinks upon arrival. We felt sorry about messing up the room with our dirty walking gear but this was no problem at all. We had some nice conversations with the owner, she helped us with booking a restaurant and in the morning we enjoyed a very good breakfast.

Lovely spacious room, plenty of space for a family of 4 and a dog. The host even provided dog bowls. Great comfy beds & clean. Outdoor space overlooking the castle. The breakfast in the bakery was fantastic. Fresh breads, meats, fruit, cheeses, hot chocolate, coffee. A real feast.

Surrounded by picturesque countryside, Waldhaus Lahnstein offers a sunny beer garden, a children's playground and a barbecue area.

The Manager was exceptional ... assisting us and speaking English, which was appreciated. Having a view of the Mosel was wonderful. Great breakfast as well ... and very comfy bed.

The location is great, balcony was facing the river, great for watching the boats passing by. Very quiet since the railway is on the other side of the house. The host was very kind and helpful. Grocery store 5 mins walk away. The apartments are newly renovated and in a very good state. There is a shared kitchen that is well equipped, and the host had a great choice of supplies. Safe on site parking. Nice waterside walk through the Rose gardens.

It is located directly on the River Rhine, a 5-minute drive from the centre of Koblenz. All rooms at Hotel zwei&vierzig are traditionally furnished and feature Wi-Fi and a private bathroom.
