A beautiful accomodation set among the vineyards! The bus 400 from Achern train station takes you just 20 meters from the front door. The accomodation is walking distance to the bakery and butcher in town as well as lots of great restaurants. We did the Schapsbrunnenweg hike while visiting and loved it a lot. The rooms were very comfortable with a great view. We travelled as a group of friends (3 couples) and we were gives rooms right next to each other, with one room having a big table where we could all have coffee together in the mornings and play cards in the evenings. We also had one couple with their little dog and it was fantastic to be able to bring the dog along for the weekend. We really had a 10/10 experience. We especially appreciated the coffee machine!

This was a stopover on a 3-day hike along the ‚Westweg‘ in the Black Forest. Very friendly welcome by Ann and Dave, Brits who have run the place for the oast 10 years. Room was quiet, clean and very comfortable and the price unbeatable! Excellent breakfast and a self-service bar for that ’letztes Bier bevor ins Bett gehen’!!
