I have been an occasional customer of the craft beer pub of the Klub malých pivovarů for some years, but this was the first time that I had stayed at its pension. All the staff were wonderful! The charming lady who welcomed us was very patient with my dismal Czech before breaking into perfect English, even coming to our table to apologize for the fact that our room wasn't ready (no need to...it was our fault for being too early!) Apart from the fabulous range of craft beer from small breweries (the name means "Club of Small Breweries") the food is good and remarkably inexpensive (about CZK 150/EUR 6 for a main meal). Superbly located just a stone's throw from the main railway station.

The family-run Penzion Vion is located in rural surroundings on the outskirts of Plzeň, 5 km from the centre.

Nice and very clean, with polite and professional personnel. Very good location for staying in Plzen. Outside of city, but stil close for being connected to city life. You can be in centrum in 6-8 minutes by taxi.

We got a message from the owner a day before our stay, that there was something wrong with our room (’broken’), and that she suggested us to stay in a similar place in a town nearby Pilsen: ‘Tremosna’. The place was of a friend of hers, and was 10 km from the centre of Pilsen (A+R pension is 6 km). The place was nice: clean, TV, kitchen, 2 single beds, bathroom with shower, big sofa, parking space. We arrived late around 22:00, but her friend who lived upstairs did the check-in.

Set in the centre of Plzeň, a 5-minute walk from the Republic Square and Plaza Shopping Centre, Pension Wallis offers a restaurant with a bar serving breakfast and Czech cuisine.
