Perfect place to relax near the river. Very quiet, can hear the monkeys in the distance. It’s clean, comfortable stay and good to explore both the waterfal inland and the beach too with a 20 min walk. Recommended!

The place is amazing, located in the middle of the jungle and right next to the beach, allowing you to disconnect and relax. It is also within walking distance of Costeño, offering opportunities for nice parties. The atmosphere is friendly, youthful, and calm, and the place is very safe. The staff is super friendly, and the facilities are clean. It is perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who want to relax and connect with nature while easily making friends. The food and drinks were also good

Amazing stay at Zakua! Juan, André and their family were great hosts. Collected us and dropped us off in Santa Marta and Tayrona park. Near to the enchanted lagoon, Juan took us on a tour to the lagoon which I would 100% recommend. Had so much fun and the tent was comfy and had a TV and air con. The pool is great to cool off in too! Thanks again for our lovely stay

It was great. Very clean, helpful staff, all the amenities you would like for your stay. Especially the location. It is located IN the park, about 20 minutes from the entrance. You have to pay the park fee (50,000 COP entrance + 6,000 COP insurance per day you are staying overnight) but then you are in the park and don’t have to worry about paying again, queuing up for tickets, etc.

I loved the 3 bed dorm, which was clean and had towels free of charge. Watched the sunset from right outside the hostel and went for a walk to the further beach which was so magical. What a beautiful location. I left early to get to tyrona work and kindly the host made me breakfast early. What a fab hostel and beautiful dreamy location. I want to go back, one night was not enough.
