Rose the owner is amazing, warm, funny and caring. She speaks very good English and knows what to do and where to go. The place is charming and the location on the edge of the old town couldn’t be better. This is not for those looking for corporate luxury but an authentic experience with a perfect host.

Great location, inside the ancient city so walking distance to restaurants, temples, shops…
The owners were great host, Rose helped us with everything: tours, taxis, breakfast.
Amazing decoration to get a real feeling of Shangri La style.

Amazing hosts, great location and very homely. You feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. The traditional Tibetan room was beautifully decorated. We appreciated the late check out too

the location was perfect. Tina’s guesthouse might be positioned in a convenient spot, but the Tibet GH was just a 10 minute walk away and was quiet and away from the crowds with rooms with stunning views
