There's absolutely nothing not to like about Hidden Gem. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, has comfy beds and even a fridge with a small selection of beverages should you get thirsty at inconvenient hours. Katrien received us personally, greeted us like we were old friends, and was generally very helpful. She gave us tips and directions, even had prepared a little map with the key features of Bruges. She even knew where to find the stop for the Flix Bus! :-D It's a shame we were only staying for one night as the property itself is so beautiful. We'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay. Hidden Gem is located literally opposite the main station in a small side road, but you can't hear a thing - no traffic, no trains, no people. A dream!

It had everything we needed for our 4-day winter holiday in Bruges. Loved the personal touches in the apartment, the well equipped kitchen and artistic decor. We particularly enjoyed the electric bed. We had great communication with Nina and Frank.

My wife and I stayed there as part of our honeymoon. Astrid that owns the place is a very kind person and a wonderful host. We enjoyed out time in Brussels so much, and are grateful to Astrid for sharing all her knowledge of the local area and the many recommendations she gave. They were fantastic. The other guest at the place were all very kind and we had a thrill at the morning breakfast were we learned just how much hot sauce will bring people together.. Thanks John. We are both vegetarians and Astrid simply changed the breakfast to our needs and served an delicious cousin. Furthermore we were amazed by how easy quality food were to come by in Brussels. Excellent communication, great location, lovely little place tucked just behind Langstraat. It was the hottest weekend of the year so far, but there are plenty of windows and skylights to open and let air through. The shower was great; the loo is downstairs (as it's a coach house type apartment) but that was fine for us. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well ordered and good if you wanted to make your own food, etc. The mezzanine bed was setup on the floor - given the heat we were expecting to do this, so it was great that it was already setup. For a family of two adults and two children under 10, this worked out really well for a weekend. Very much liked the complementary bottles of Zot on arrival! Would recommend!
