Check-in was perfect (we came in late, driving with a family, in a thunderstorm).... The staff was available at the phone line provided and we had no problems (and the rooms were lovely).

A charming and peaceful little village just a few kilometers from the Vienna - Passau highway, not far from Linz. The hotel has a rich history yet feels fresh and impeccably maintained, with a tasteful renovation and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is served individually rather than buffet-style: the hostess sets the table and prepares eggs exactly as you like, creating a warm, homelike atmosphere. The breakfast was generous and really good quality. Delicious rolls, cheese, ham, muesli, yoghurt. And great, fresh ground coffee and Sonnentor teas. And pear juice from a local farm. The couple who run this place are very kind, warm and gentle and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. I arrived after a very long, snowy drive and it was so relaxing to just get to my room and crash.
