great location, extremely welcoming and friendly staff with a personal touch. clean rooms, big balcony to use. was a great stay also for a bigger group. the location is very convenient with many restaurants, bars, casino, Seebad and train station in walking distance. We loved everything about this accomodation. Located in the enchanting Austrian country side, next to cute Maltschacher lake, surrounded by green fields, sheep and birds is the perfect place for short or longer stay and relaxing holiday. Every room was super clean with very comfortable bed, nice small shared kitchen for morning coffee or quick snack. View from our terrace looking towards alps was breathtaking. Christina and her parents were perfect hosts, kind and thoughtful about their guests. The breakfast that they prepared was better than ann hotel provide us on our European trip. Klagenfurt on absolutely beautiful Worthersee was 20 min from us. We enjoyed day spent in Minimundus and the park on the lake. Our 3 nights stay way far not enough to enjoy everything to full extend. Next time we are definitely coming for the longer stay. Thank you Christina for making us feel like at home, or even better.

What is there NOT to like about Pension Kitty? First, Barry is an absolutely wonderful host! He was incredibly cheerful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, he gave us a full tour and recommended restaurants to us in the area. At breakfast, he made homemade bread every day which was absolutely fantastic- I'm pretty sure I had 4 slices of it on our last day. ;) Barry also makes homemade yogurt and smoothies - which were really fun. We just felt incredibly welcomed the entire time we were there. And if Barry's hospitality isn't enough to draw you in - the quality of the room will! We came to Europe for 6 weeks and this place EASILY had the best bed, pillows, etc. The bed was so comfortable - we didn't want to leave. I know I'm writing about the toilet paper but seriously, it was QUALITY and the towels weren't the scratchy white towels you get in every other hotel, they were actually soft and cozy. It was just the little things. My husband and I especially loved that we had access to the coffee maker in the breakfast room at any time of day - we hadn't experienced that before and it was a nice touch. We also loved the mini coffee maker and fridge in the room - really nice! Barry, I hope you read this: sincerely, you are such an incredible host and we comment often about how wonderful our trip was to visit you and your lovely guest house! Thank you for brightening our mornings with your whistling and for your wonderful music played at breakfast - you were the only place to play non-top 40 music hits ;P

The hosts are very friendly and provide excellent advice about local activities and how to combine multiple nice activities on a day. Also the rooms are very nice and there are a lot of fun things to do and to enjoy. Would recommend the Kärnten Karte for a stay of at least a few days, lots of savings on activities.

The breakfasts were great, a choice of many dishes, side dishes and drinks. A hot breakfast could also be ordered. The staff including the owner were amazing. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful area with amazing peace and quiet to relax and also the opportunity to swim in the pond belonging to the guesthouse.

Overlooking Lake Wörthersee, Hotel Garni Wurzer is surrounded by a 10,000 m² park and offers a small private lake access, an outdoor pool, and a breakfast buffet.
