We went there as it has a great reputation for traditional Albanian cuisine and the food was beyond our wildest expectations. Everything was prepared attention to the details and was delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who offered us a tour of the facility and was a genuinely friendly guy. The service was excellent. We are definitely going back with our kids next time.

We were overwhelmed by the family's hospitality. Perfect to enjoy nature, get down to earth, and pet many animals if you like. The breakfast is not only made with love but almost entirely with products from Marjanna and her family's little farm. They started to share their facilities this year (2025), built charming and cozy rooms, and steadily improve the surroundings like the path to their house or places to sit outside. Now we are sure to be back in Albania soon!

Where can I start? I have no words for the great hospitality and kindness of our hosts at guesthouse Marku. Even though we could not understand each other, we had the warmest welcome and the best stay! We could wash our clothes, which was very much appreciated after a sweaty hike from Valbonë to Theth. The room was brand new and extremely clean. But above all, the breakfast was one in a million! Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, grapes, peaches, red berries, bacon, eggs, honey, bread… and even handmade cheese, yogurt, beignets… To top this off, a nice cappuccino to start our day! We followed the recommendation to visit the local ceramic atelier and had diner at Mrizi i zanave, where we also got tour of the farm. Do not hesitate to book, you will not regret this amazing stay!I
