The host (Elisabetta) was so kind to prepare breakfast for us. Given how early we would wake up, we did not expect this generousity. She was very friendly and gave advice about where to go, etc. The rooms were clean. We had comfortable beds - really nice house. The view of the area and the mountains were spectacular.

Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.
