This 4-star hotel includes free Wi-Fi and a wellness centre in the 16th-century cellars. We really liked the design of the lobby, hotel bar, and hallways. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk to the Belfry. The beds are large and the mattresses very comfortable, although a bit on the soft side, and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Breakfast was quite basic — eggs, cold cuts, pastries, and cereals. Nothing really wowed us, but we’re from Croatia, where the food is excellent, so we understand that our bar is set pretty high from the start.

The property is around 25 km from Boudewijn Seapark, 26 km from Bruges Train Station and 27 km from Bruges Concert Hall. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.5 km from Oostende Beach. We had a wonderful stay at The Ostendian. Ithe rooms are clean and spacious and we had a fantastic view. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very kind. They even found lactose free food for our son which was great.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has parking on-site, a sauna and a lift. Everything! The building itself was a fantastic renovation, lots of wonderful art on the walls. Hosts were lovely. Rooms were ready well before we had anticipated. The view from the room was incredibly, overlooking one of the Bruges canals. Truly wonderful part of the world. Breakfast was fantastic. Extremely comfortable room, wonderful showers.

Equipped with basic kitchen necessities and Tea + Coffee + Milk & Sugar for the morning. Plenty of sockets in the right places. Don’t contemplate, just book. This place is gorgeous! Can’t wait to stay again!
