Everything .. comfort, cleanliness, food, friendliness. Enjoyed everything about our stay from the minute we walked through the door. William is so welcoming and makes you feel at ease straight away. The breakfasts were really tasty, and the porridge was the best I've ever tasted, so creamy, buy very filling! The house is beautiful and is a credit to you both, we hope to come back one day soon. Would highly recommend Allerton House.

Really nice place, reception is the pub which is well decorated. Room is basic, clean, good size with great shower . Shower had plenty of hot water and different shower heads to choose from including waterfall head. Heating worked well in room. Super friendly staff. Great place to stay on main street of innerleithan. Continental breakfast included was nice, had toast, fruit cereals and even soy milk when requested.
