Our stay in the EcoDomes was different to any other accommodation we ever had and is was totally worth it. Stunning views, an outside bathtub, a neat fireplace, lovely hosts, superb equipment and everything was super clean. We couldn't ask for more. 100% recommend you try it yourself. These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Everything! From the greeting on arrival to our farewell the experience was unforgettable. This is five-star in all categories - accommodation, food, activities and the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, who are mostly family. We learned so much on our two safari drives with Josh - we recommend doing both the evening and morning drives. We were the only guests on both drives so were able to ask lots of questions. This place is highly recommended for anyone (like us) who has never been on a safari before. We wish the Garden Route Safari Camp all the best with their plans to increase the size of their property in a manageable and sustainable way so that guests can enjoy seeing and learning about more these beautiful African animals.

This mobile home has a fireplace. Heuwelsig Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on a working wine farm, just outside Franschhoek, only an hour drive from Cape Town. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

Just 2.5 hours away from Cape Town, Inverdoorn Game Reserve Lodge is set on 10000 hectares of land within the Klein Karoo. This reserve is home to the Big 5 and a cheetah conservation centre. These were top things I noticed in poor reviews: Food: Every meal was a buffet. I found the food to be tasty, healthy and with plenty of options. Game Drives: my favorite review "this isn't the serengeti"...correct, the map will tell you that!! while it's not a true wilderness it is also NOT a zoo, you are truly gonna go searching out animals! And you'll see them so close the wildlife will BLOW YOUR MIND! Staff: kind, always willing to help; some friendlier than others but that's how it works with humans Accommodations: totally comfortable and clean; if you're able to upgrade to Deluxe it is worth it for space and privacy

The hot tub and fireplace are the special features of this tent. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave in the well-equipped kitchen. We loved our stay! Everything you needed was present, check-in was very easy and the view was very nice. We ordered the braai and breakfast basket last-minute and both were waiting on us when we arrived.
