In the middle of bothered, in a beautiful reserve with a body of water nearby that makes for great pictures. The accommodation is super spacious, well furnished and kitted out, and super comfortable. The floors and bathrooms have been recently renovated and look really nice. The indoor braai and the wood-fired got tub make it even more amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Lina is really fun, super knowledgeable and helpful (she helped us with the hot tub). The game drive was really enjoyable. Lina drove like a pro and has an incredible ability to spot animals from afar.

The guides were very knowledgeable and a special shout out to Abram who is wise beyond his years. We saw great wildlife up close and personal whilst still feeling totally safe. We did both a driven safari and a walking guided safari - both were excellent and memorable. The lodge was very special and Mare, a hand reared antelope, hangs out near the lodge, which is delightful.

Before booking, the price might seem a bit expensive but with what's included in the half board package (dinner, 1 safari, 1 night), it is great value for money. The room is very big. We liked having the last one (number 14). It felt very private. Seeing zebras eating right outside the room is a fantastic experience. Our guide (Christiaan) was very friendly.

The executive tented suites are spacious with a separate large lounge area. Each unit is elegantly decorated in colonial style with 4-poster beds and mosquito nets. The en-suite bathroom is lavishly equipped with a deep oval bath and an outdoor shower. You can relax next to your own private splash pool or enjoy the exciting bush swing between the trees. The room was amazing and the views were spectacular. We went for the game drive and was able to spot 4 of the big five. The staff were all so warm, friendly and welcoming, which probably indicates how valued they feel as employees of the reserve. Highly recommend this!
