Tents were clean, comfortable and well stocked. Air conditioning worked well and the view was beautiful. Location in Kruger is very convenient and waking up to elephants in the river bed was amazing. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

The tent features air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath. We had an amazing three-night stay at Umkumbe bush Lodge. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. As there are only a few tents, they get to know your name and preferences and it feels like a home away from home. The accommodation is super clean, comfortable and exactly what you need for your visit. The common area had a wonderful pool and bar, where you can watch the wildlife pass by as you relax and unwind. The game drives start early in the morning, and it can be cold, but you are provided with warm fleece blankets as well as ponchos for when it rains. Both our guides (Pieter and Capps ) are very knowledgeable and good fun - they really look after us and engaged in conversation while on drives sharing their passion for the area. The coffee and drink stops were a highlight as well. We cannot rate this place highly enough and hope to return sometime in the future, l Thank you to everyone at Umkumbe for making this such a memorable experience and making us feel like more than just guests. Your personal touches did not go unnoticed

This tent has a balcony, microwave and satellite TV. Please note that the property is 24.9km away from Dullstroom. Please also note that there is Gravel road. The wilderness. Although off the beaten track, it was a much worthwhile visit with a little dirt road driving. The venue is outstanding. Beautiful and super-well kept with stunning dams to fish in. Great hosts!!!!

The location in the middle of nature surrounded by wild animals. An elephant came eating from the tree right next to our tent. At night we could hear the hyenas howling. The game drives were fantastic! Elvis gave it all to show us the beautiful animals of South Africa. We saw not only the big five, but many more! During our game drives we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, hippos, rhinos, leopards, crocodiles, impalas and many more beautiful creatures. The food and catering was outstanding. We were taken care of so well from the kitchen crew. It was amazing! Also the tent itself was super clean and comfortable.
