The owners Jørgen and Lisbeth have done a fabulous job to allow us to experience this moment in the wild.

This tent features a tea/coffee maker, private entrance and seating area. This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.

The tent offers a barbecue and mountain views. Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle or high suspension vehicle, this camps is located on the Gitlane Moonsicle Iudo African Community Cultural Site. Amazing, We had the best stay. nice views amazing, great staff.

Built on an elevated riverbank, these luxury, canvas tent suites are set on stilted wooden decks. Incredible service from the time we arrived until we had left. We were lucky enough to spot the big 5 in just two game drives and witnessed a lion hunt. The open safari experience was exhilarating in comparison to other 5 star lodges visited previously. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The luxury tent was superb in every aspect, exactly as advertised. Food was delicious and my husband is vegetarian so his meals were also well catered for and divine. We also tried the River Lodge Spa, this was one of the finest spas I have been too.
