The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.

All units include a fully equipped kitchen and a seating area. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Built on an elevated riverbank, these luxury, canvas tent suites are set on stilted wooden decks. Each suite has wooden floors, leather and dark wood finishes and includes a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine and lock-up safe. The suites are equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets.
