Everything was fantastic: the food, activities, hosts, accommodations, and environment... Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

All guests share the large kitchen which is fully equipped with gas stoves, hotplates and crockery. Very comfortable, clamping tents have their own bathroom with king size bed, lovely pool and shared kitchen facilities. Very helpful staff. Walking distance to everything in town. St Lucia is a great place and worth a visit!

The Tree Top Village Urban Glamping is situated on the main road of St Lucia, surrounded by restaurants and just across the street from the fresh fruit market. The hostel features 2 large swimming pools with sundecks, pool loungers and gazebos. Everything. We were upgraded from the basic (which) still) looked great, to luxury tent. Let me tell, the luxury would have been well worth the money. Absolutely beautiful tenet with bed, ensuite, fridge, coffee, even drinking water. We had a deck and it opened into special area with swings bbqs and even a special pool. Staff was amazing, felt so welcomed !

Known as Thanda Tented Camp, this camp is built in colonial-safari style. Each spacious tent comes with a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathroom. The camp is non-electrified but does have limited solar and battery power with a back-up generator to power the tents for a few hours each day for guests to charge cameras and phones. We loved every minute of our stay from the first Welcome to the last goodbye from the Thanda Team. A true reflection of how beautiful South Africa really is. We are definitely going back.
