This tented house offers a kitchenette, en suite bathroom and a private veranda and boma area with a fire pit. The property is well maintained and well managed. Gilbert was friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable on the game drive. The tents are clean comfortable and have everything that one needs. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Waking up to the sound of nature does wonders to the soul. We will DEFINITELY be visiting Ouklip again in the near future.

Our entire stay was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Sipho is an unbelievable credit to the lodge, he couldn't do enough to help. Everything was clean and neat, the kitchens are well equipped and we wanted for nothing in the self catering kitchen. We'll definitely be back - THANK YOU!

It is a small (fenced) paradise on the edge of a town famous for its diamond mining. This is the main residential building of the owners and then several separate houses in the middle of a beautiful garden. Next to the main building is a stylish swimming pool, bar, barbecue area. All this available to visitors. everything is complemented by a beautiful garden and palm trees around the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The 3 dogs from the owners were the nicest dogs we have ever experienced, I loved them. Our house/cottage was a beautiful stylish building faced with brick and with a thatched roof. Downstairs was a kitchen, a dining area, a living area and a bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs there is one single bed and another bedroom with a double bed. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning, when it was really hot under the thatched roof in the attic. Breakfast was prepared by the owners in the form of ingredients in our private kitchen. Homemade bread, milk and everything was great.

Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings. The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests. We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities. The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion. Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!
