All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.

Wildlife at the watering hole behind the main house is plentiful - we even saw elephants and rhinos there. The safari tent style rooms are well spaced, oversized and well appointed. Special shout out to the guides that took us out 7-9hrs a day on drives and bush walks. Incredible experience overall.

It features large windows and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. Everything was just perfect. The rooms. The Service. The food. The safaris with Nel. So interesting to learn about nature and animals. She she did the safari with so much passion, professionalism and so much fun. Exceptional. We had the best time ever. We stayed for two nights but it felt like a week. Nothing to add. If any chance we would love to come back anytime.

At Kudu Ridge Game Lodge all the safari tents and chalets are en-suite, private and set in the indigenous Addo bush. Brian and Jenny were terrific hosts and were very helpful. Rusty and Pedro their dogs are great company. Had some nice chats in the evening sat around the fire. Plans are in place to make the park on which they are based a big five one. Our safari tent was comfortable enough for us.
