It is a very nice place not far from Addo Elephant National Park. We had a great stay—spacious accommodation with plenty of room, multiple bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large terrace and a small pool, which was a real hit with the children. There is also excellent birdlife: at night you can hear Fiery-necked Nightjars and see Water Thick-knees, and during the day many birds visit the garden. You can order dinner and/or breakfast, which is very convenient, as the area is quite isolated.

This Luxury Tent Room has a private entrance with an open plan room with a Double Bed and bathroom with shower. The Luxury Tent Room shares balcony with beautiful views. One of the Highlights of our Trip. The two hosts made us feel like old family members from far away from the first moment on. The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️

Incredibly peaceful being surrounded by nature and had a great time (despite the rain!). The staff were so friendly and accommodating and food was DELICIOUS! Great game drive in Addo, learnt so much and even saw lions. Hope to be back soon.

A huge thank you to ALL of the staff who gave us an experience to last a lifetime. The food was delicious throughout the whole day and started at 5.30 each morning! The game drives allowed us to see so many fabulous animals in their natural habitat and the guides had so much knowledge that there was always something new to learn. The accommodation was excellent and spotlessly clean and the location was great, within easy reach from Port Elizabeth. I would love to return one day!

The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The food was excellent and the facilities couldn’t be any better! We loved it, and we exceeded our stay with a day😊

Elephants Lodge is located within the malaria-free Bellevue Forest Reserve, home to wildlife such as lion and buffalo. The lodge features natural gardens, patio’s and a lookout lounge overlooking the vast open plains of the Eastern Cape. This was an excellent experience. Accommodations, food and resort staff were excellent. Property was amazing, and animals were the stars.
