They welcomed us with homemade rakija and juice. In the morning they prepared delicious pancakes. Accomodation was very comfartable and clean. Everything looks more beautiful then in photos. Featuring a garden, bar and views of mountain, Jelenov breg pod Matajurem is set in Kobarid, 43 km from Stadio Friuli. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay offers garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Breakfasts were exceptional- a huge selection of many kinds of foods, mostly homemade. Dinners were delicious home cooked five course meals (or less if that’s too much). Nice walks in the area right from the farm, and lots of other fun things to do within a short drive.

I recently stayed a couple of days in these beautiful wooden houses and I can truly recommend this place and the wonderful family who runs it. Breakfast in the morning with a stunning view of the mountains was unforgettable, and dinner was absolutely perfect – three delicious courses, and I honestly can’t decide which I liked the most. They also offer their own homemade products, which you can buy to take a piece of the experience home with you. I will definitely visit this place again!

Beautiful glamping hut in a gorgeous setting. Location perfect by the river Soca and Slap Kozjak. Easy 15min walk into town. Food at the restaurant was great and affordable. Very kind and friendly staff, they even invited us to a end of season bbq with live music and delicious food! The hut itself was very well appointed with kitchen, fridge, dishes, cutlery etc, and the private bathroom had a great shower and soap. Heater was cosy. Bed was huge and very comfortable! Terrace was private and had a bbq and table, with a lovely view. Parking super easy right outside the hut. Highly recommend and hope to come back one day!
