Situated in Bora Bora, 5.2 km from Mount Otemanu, Bora Roots Camp features a garden and views of the sea. Perfect location, right next to the sea And only 20 minutes walk to swim with mantas. Small, basic camp with only three tents (no fans) and a mostly equipped kitchen. The host was so wonderful to help us with everything we needed and teach us a few things like how to open a coconut and weaving with palm leaves. Probably the best value for location and cultural exchange in all of Bora Bora. Maruuru for everything! 🩵

The breakfast and dinner were truly abundant and delicious — the best meal I’ve had on this trip. On top of that, the host was incredibly warm and kept surprising us. Although it was a tent stay, it was incredibly comfortable, complete with a mattress and pillows. They even arranged our transportation on the island and a place to store our luggage, thoughtfully taking care of every detail — it was truly touching.
