We stayed in the first cottage, which was both spacious and cosy. There’s also a fantastic spot on the property to see glowworms. The host was very kind and welcoming. It’s a pity we only stayed for one night.

The quiet serenity. The breath taking views. The accommodations are top notch. The staff are so lovely. Beautifully curated dinners by chef Yudai and his assistant Hozumi. We didn't use the spa but it is a beautiful space. I wish we had more time to enjoy all that Te Whaanga Retreat has to offer. We especially loved the story of their ancestors being on this land. It was a treat watching the surfers in the mornings.
