The farm is beautifully kept, and the attention to detail is impressive — the owners haven’t missed a thing. I’m so glad places like this exist in the more remote corners of Norway. I really like the concept, and there are several unique options to choose from, depending on the kind of experience you’re after — from glass cabins to yurts. We stayed in the three bedrooms apartment at Mormorhuset, and it was great value for money.

The kitchen had ample utencils and crockery. The dishwasher and fridge/freezer were convenient during our stay. The outdoor sitout with sofas and tables were great for outdoor meals.

The owner also has a Italiano restaurant at center Oslo. No chance to visit this time since the tight schedule but will try it definitely when I come to Oslo next time!
