My partner and I enjoyed every aspect of this experience in the Mhamid desert and in the camp we chose to spend the night. After the tour on the back of the dromedary we arrive in Camp Desert Trips already rich from the experience we have just had and it was no less there. We were welcomed by the staff who are like a family, they immediately offered us a hot mint tea (the first of a long series) and then we enjoyed excellent Moroccan specialties for dinner to end the evening with our eyes fixed on the sky at admire the stars while listening to the traditional songs and music of this welcoming people around the fire.

The luxury tent features an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

Great experience in the desert with Hamad, Cecile and all the team who are super nice and helpful! The tents are really comfortable and ensure an immersive experience! We had a superb new year evening with a band playing revisited traditional songs and a great dinner! We definitely recommend Majorelle Desert Camp to live a first experience in the desert!

Staying two nights with Younas, Hamid and Rasheed was easily the shining highlight of our three week trip to Morocco. These wise, young, generous men couldn’t have done anything more to warm our hearts, enrich our experience or increase our comfort. They went above and beyond in every way, we absolutely adored them, the accommodation and the magic of their dunes, camels, food, etc. Highly recommend - if we ever make it back, we would love to see them and stay with them again!!

Not big dunes, but you can experience the sand colors during sunset and sunrise. The road to the camp is accessible to any type of car. The communication with the host was perfect, and I was waited in the nearby village to be guided to the camp. Comfortably sleeping in the tent. Clean toilet, hot water, shower. Good meals, but the dinner is overpriced. If you need wifi, the hosts provide hotspot access on their phones. Otherwise, note that Internet over Orange is not reliable. The hosts are very attentive and caring, persistently asking if everything is ok.

The parking is on the street and you have to walk a 50 meters path to the hotel. The staff helped us carry all the baggage. The room was clean and the view was outstanding, so was the view from the rooftop terraces. Ideal for having a beer (if you buy it elsewhere) after a long ride.

This place feels like home, with a cozy family atmosphere. It's simple in the best way, nothing overly fancy, but it has everything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Mhamid. From the camp, it's just a short walk to some beautiful nearby dunes, which made for such a fun and unique experience! And the food, wow. Without a doubt, the best we've had in Morocco! Every meal was a surprise, with creative, flavorful, and varied dishes that we couldn’t get enough of. Daoud also organizes treks into the Sahara, and if you’re looking for an authentic adventure paired with interesting conversations, this is the place to be. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco, and we can’t recommend it enough. Wishing you all the best for the future, and we hope to see you again someday! As agreed, Ali waited for us in the center of M'hamida, where we parked the vehicle in a secured parking lot for 20 MAD per night. The jeep ride through the desert takes 1.5 hours (€90 for the jeep). After an interesting drive, we arrive at a beautiful small family camp run by Mohamed together with Ali. There are 4 tents and 3 bivouacs in the camp, which makes for a family-friendly atmosphere. Tea and snacks await you. Then we walk along the wonderful surrounding dunes. This is followed by an excursion with camels into the sunset organized by Mohamed (€15 pp/h). After the trip was a fantastic dinner from chef Ali, who prepared the best soup of our entire trip, and the tajine was also superb. Followed by stargazing and hanging out by the camp fire. In the morning, a pleasant simple breakfast and departure from the camp. . Thanks to Mohamed, Ali and the team for a wonderful day and night in a real desert. We recommend it to everyone who wants an authentic experience.
