On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The very local breakfast was a delightful and authentic experience, and we were so happy that it wasn't too spicy for our taste. Initially, we thought staying inside the national park would be a big challenge, but we were amazed at how comfortable it became once we settled into the jungle. The most incredible moment came in the evening when a leopard approached our tent area. We believe the smell of our cooking meat might have attracted it, and seeing the leopard so close was an unforgettable experience. To top it off, there's a lovely river running just a short distance from our tent, adding to the serene atmosphere.

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

Situated in Yala, less than 1 km from Situlpawwa, Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a terrace. Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. It's a private house facing a small stream and a field. It has a good bed and a/c, nice view from the window, private bathroom, a small kitchen with cooking equipment ,fridge and a basin. The main centre of this city with the bus stop, restaurants and bar are only a few steps away. The owners are kind. They were always ready to help if we had any questions or concerns. Its very near to lunugumvehera national park in which you can go safari without disturbing the jungle creatures too much as it's less crowded than many other crowded safari parks around. It is one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

The house you get to stay in is simply incredible, secluded and gives an absolute Safari feeling! It is very big and the bathroom is great. We've had the most amazing hosts that were incredibly attentive and supportive. For a little extra, you can book a BBQ including a bonfire under the stars, which we can highly recommend! The food and service was outstanding. Something i am so thankful for - they will contact you already before your travel and during our texts to arrange everything I mentioned that it was my best friends birthday. They were so kind and offered to have a cake ready for her with her name on it for her special day.. Thank you so much for the effort! We really appreciate that. Lastly, the Safari was amazing! We drove with Indika and he was the perfect Safari guide. He stopped for us whenever possible, tried to make sure we see the most animals and explained everything in detail to us. We can only recommend taking a tour with him! If you plan on doing a Safari in Yala and want to experience a Safari like housing - this is the place to do so! Highly recommend and we'd definitely would come back. Lastly, if you plan on doing a Safari, we suggest to do the full day one :)
