Could not recommend Thamaravila more! Everything was fantastic from the welcome to the safari and everything in between. The service was fantastic and all staff were extremely friendly. The traditional Sri Lankan food was delicious. Our safari experience was also amazing, seeing elephants, sloth bears and leopards all in one day! Thanks to Priya who was our very knowledgeable guide on the day. The rooms were very spacious and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. AC in the tent. Hot water for shower. Comfortable bed. Delicious food. Attentive staff. The Safari with Raj was incredible!

The tent offers a private entrance, a tea and coffee maker, a terrace with lake views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 2 beds. Nirvaan is a wonderful lodge in the middle of nature and very close to Wilpattu national park. We were lucky to be around when Ranil, the owner, was there. Ranil is a respected conservation biologist and a wealth of knowledge about flora and fauna in Wilpattu and in Sri Lanka at large. He arranges safaris with good naturalists and drivers. His trips may be a bit more costly than what other providers will offer you, but you get a better jeep where you can interact with the guide and driver while you drive. We saw lots of wildlife even though we did not see the big ones- elephants and leopards. Ranil runs an organisation that aims to protect wildlife in cooperation with local people. He was so kind to take us to see one of the projects nearby. We admire the work he does. We highly recommend this lodge.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. We had a nice stay. Room and food were good and the safari in wilpattu was very nice.

To sit and talk laugh with you and paul cheryl was great. And your mothers cooking was awesome. I still buy the kurd and treacle. Fantastic chilled place to stay and totally relax. Very authentic and beautiful gardens. Great bungalow type rooms with terrace and lovely shower . Loved the outdoor gym. Cant recommend this place enough. Loved it.
