Amazing stay at sunboo bungalows. I stayed in the dorm, it is very comfortable and well equipped. The bed are big and good quality. Everything is made out of bamboo and looks nice and natural. The sunset beach is just amazing with great vibes and different place la to eat. Staff is super nice and enthusiastic. Everything was very clean. Free drinking water available all the time. You just need to be prepared for the hike, the last part is really in the jungle with big rocks and quite a lot of mosquitoes but all in all it was easier than I thought, it took me about 30min with a big bag. Very doable and so so worth it at the end. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to Koh Rong Samloen.

Since it was Chinese New Year everything was completely booked out and I could only get the wooden bungalow, even though I much prefered a concrete one. But also the wooden bungalow is very nice. It's extremely clean, fans are strong, water pressure is great and the bed very comfy. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

This is a well maintained and well staffed resort. The food was great. Perfect beach front location and view of the water. A great place to tuck yourself away and enjoy the peace. It is a hike across the island with about 10 minutes of steep terrain. I left most of my luggage as advised by the resort for $1 per day on the Saracen Bay side.

A hidden gem in nature! If you're looking to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with nature, this eco-stay on Koh Ta Kiev is the perfect escape. A really pleasant stay on the island. The tent was super comfortable and very cool. Scott was a great guy and very accommodating. Also, there is an excellent snorkeling spot right next to the guesthouse.

The best thing about the last point is the atmosphere and the staff. It is familiar and if there is time and resources, they are happy to arrange the little extra! You live simple and primitive and you leave the phone in the bag to experience and socialize instead. The islands scenery is beautiful, the food is really good and reasonably priced, and it's easy to relax and just enjoy life here. If you have a great attitude and can compromise away some everyday comforts your stay will undoubtedly be unforgettable. Beautiful swims, chit chat at the bar, volleyball games, blue plankton, boat trips, rock bathing and painting signs are just a few of the things you can do here.
