During my stay I rented a tent, as all the bungalows were taken. No matter that, the tent was big, with a nice, comfortable bed. Electricity a fan and towels. I had access to the shared bathroom and showers, kept clean all along my stay. The accomodation has a small restaurant with bar. The food they cook and serve is great! It has direct access to the Coconut Beach. It think it is one of the best places where to stay in Koh Rong as it has a few bars and restaurant, the beach is never crowded and is beautiful, and it is very peaceful here.

We stayed at Sleeping Trees on Sunset Beach, Koh Rong Sanloem, and absolutely loved it! Originally we planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying three—and we’re so glad we did. This place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful, the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. Getting there is part of the adventure: you hike for about half an hour through the jungle, and arriving at Sleeping Trees feels like a true reward after the trek. The beach, the atmosphere—it’s all worth it. The owner is super friendly and flexible, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. We enjoyed some delicious food during our stay—especially the fresh pizza baked in their clay oven. It’s amazing what they can do in such a remote setting! Plus, the price includes lots of thoughtful extras like free water refills and free use of snorkeling gear, which made exploring the beach even more fun. Every evening we were treated to absolutely stunning sunsets right from the beach. We highly recommend staying multiple nights to fully soak up the tranquility and magic of this place. A true hidden gem!

Nestled on a quiet, undeveloped island off the coast of Cambodia, the experience is raw, real, and refreshingly simple. Accommodation is under canvas tents set just steps from the beach or tucked into the jungle. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to birdsong was pure magic. The tents are basic but comfortable, with mosquito nets and mats provided. The French couple owning the place were warm, welcoming, and always happy to share stories or help organise island activities. Whether it’s snorkelling in front of the beach or hiking through the forest or simply drinking a cold beer on the deck of the restaurant or swinging in a hammock with a book, this place invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. An amazing place — our bungalow was just a few meters from the water, and we woke up to a stunning view of the sea. The food was delicious, and the bar had many different cocktails. There are lots of activities on the property and a long sandy beach. I really loved this place and would like to come back again. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful bell tents, comfy beds, nice clean showers/toilets. Possibly the best view we’ve had in Cambodia so far, from the restaurant overlooking Koh Rong, serving delicious BBQ food for reasonable prices (seafood platter in particular!), free snorkelling gear and a great rocky area to relax and snorkel. Scott was a great host and was very welcoming :) highly recommended.

Amazing place. You should expect basic, no fans, bucket shower and no phone service (you can go have a drink to the place on the other beach if needed). Good bunk beds with mosquitos net. The place is perfect to chill, with nice commun area in the center. The breakfast included is simple but good (coffee not included). The food is good and you have some choices. You can walk on the island, have boat trip or just hang out. Great staff and good mood all around.
