We were blown away by the sheer amount of wildlife on the drives and bush walk. We were treated to an abundance of animals and birds, and particularly enjoyed being in close proximity with Craig, Amboseli’s biggest tusker. The camp is very luxurious and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after like royalty. Delicious meals prepared to a high standard in the bush and at the camp, evening sundowners overlooking Kilimanjaro, morning sunrises and incredible landscapes, this is a very special place and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. Guided game drives and bush walks are offered at an additional charge. Loved our time at Kilima - the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a room upgrade! We were very pleasantly surprised with the food - everything was delicious and super well-seasoned. Chef Edward came out to meet us as well. The location is great, right next to the entrance to the park. Just keep in mind if you come from Nairobi you'll probably have to drive through the park to get to the hotel and consequently pay the entry fee, which is valid for 24h). Chef David's culinary creations are outstanding, Sylvie made us feel truly at home, and Levi was always quick to respond to our questions and arranged an unforgettable safari experience. wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area. It was a unique and memorable stay, and I can't wait to return.

All the staff were wonderful, very kind, helpful, and honest. The view of Mount Kilimanjaro is absolutely beautiful and visible from all rooms. We were initially hesitant to book after reading a review mentioning a problem with late arrivals, but our experience was completely different. We arrived late, and everything went smoothly. No one tried to overcharge or scam us, they treated us very well throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
