The view is definitely the main attraction, but the accommodation and everything you get during your stay met my expectation and then some. The sleeping area is really nice and cosy and slept so well that 1 night I stayed here. So nice that they have a pick-up service that picks you up and drops you off at Kawaguchi station. You get the option for dinner and breakfast during your stay or you can bring your own food. if you really want to relax and get outside the hustle and bustle of the city, reconnect with nature, then definitely come here - You won't be disappointed. Will book this again when I get back here.

The location was amazing! Tucked into a little side street but walking distance to the lake and all the things around it. The view was amazing and unobstructed from room D. Loved the space and the tent itself was large with a great big bed made up of 4 singles! The spa/ cold/ sauna was great and the cooking facilities in the room - bbq, microwave etc would be great if you came for a week long stay with friends. We didn’t use it but the fire pit at night when it’s a bit cooler weather would also make for a nice stay.

Gran Tocoro was phenomenal. Everything was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The food was incredible, but come very hungry (if you ordered the meal) because there was a TON of food. The sauna was such a great addition and really added to our experience. The staff was so accommodating they even drove us into town when we missed the shuttle. They also provided luggage forwarding for us with ease.

The tent offers air conditioning, a dining area, a terrace with garden views as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 4 beds. Everything was so thoughtfully designed to create an amazing guest experience—beautiful infrastructure, lots of amenities in the room, and great heating, which really mattered in the cold. The common areas, like the campfire and dining space, were super cozy too. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always doing their best, and even gave us a lovely souvenir when we left."
