This tent features a private entrance, air conditioning and washing machine. The camp was amazing, beds were super comfortable and it was super close to Little petra and petra itself. We felt amazingly safe the entire time. Mohammed was exceptionally welcoming and all of the staff went out of their way to make us feels at home.

I had the pleasure of staying at Al-Nawatef ECO Camp in Dana Nature Reserve, and it was truly one of the best stays I've ever had. The service was exceptional—easily the best I've experienced. The camp offers an authentic taste of Bedouin life, making the experience all the more memorable. Mohammed and Ibrahim from Yemen were incredible hosts, always ensuring our tea cups were full without delay. We planned a hike to Wadi Ghuweir, and while the transportation cost was 30 JD per person, Abu Bilal kindly suggested alternative options that helped us save money. He was an honest and deeply principled man, making our experience even more special. This was a stay I will never forget, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and heartwarming experience.

It is a bit outside of Dana village so there is a sense of seclusion and serenity. The views are incredible. The staff is wonderful and really went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Thank you Ibrahim, Ghalib, Salah and the Syrian man (whose name I forgot) for offering exceptional hospitality in an exceptional location. Special mention for the food - all homemade by Ghalib’s wife and incredibly tasty buffets for dinner and breakfast. We also did a hike with a guide called ‘Amar and were very happy with it. Dana is truly a gem and the people make it even more special.

Therefore you really get the Jordanian culture experience! Host provided a guide to take us around Dana nature reserve. Highly recommend this. No real restaurant facilities in Dana so I would request that the Hobbit Village provide lunch/dinner.

I got such a warm welcome from the time I arrived to the time I left, the food is excellent, and the facilities are good considering it is very much a work in progress. The location is fantastic and the story of the lodge is inspiring.

The breakfast was amazing, very patient staff that offered us tea as soon as we arrived as welcome drink. The Wifi was great and reached our room. The rooms were very clean, tidy, neat, with soap and tissue paper at the bathroom. The bathroom itself was more than amazing for a camping quality. We enjoyed our conversation with the owner and working team at night, knowing more about Culture and things to do in Jordan. We could have loved to stayed more if our time allowed us.

The staff and the lodging itself is amazing. The view was amazing too. His son cooked dinner for us and his cooking is amazing! Very very delicious dinner. The room was also amazing. I feel like we were traveling back in history with the decors and the layout. Hanging out with the owner and his son and having conversations were lovely. I highly recommend this place. Authentic with experience in Mumia and Jordan overall.

From the moment we booked, Ghaleb, the lodge manager, was incredibly responsive and professional. He confirmed our arrival details in advance, arranged a smooth pick-up, and helped us plan our hiking route with a fantastic local guide. The hike was a highlight — we saw unique local plants and herbs, and brewed tea like true Bedouins in a wide-open desert space. It was an authentic, grounding experience. The next morning, we set off on a different trail with the same guide, who was once again perfectly punctual and prepared, offering us fresh tea and warm conversation. Ghaleb truly goes above and beyond. He is attentive to every detail, and whatever he promises, he follows through without delay.
