Around 12 miles from Sheffield, in the heart of the Peak District, The Plough Inn in Hathersage is a 16th-century inn in Derbyshire. It has a cosy bar and restaurant and offers free parking and Wi-Fi. The breakfast is amazing. The kindness of the staff is amazing. I would definitely stay again. Being just before Easter the price was not exactly low but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, very good appliances, cooked breakfast and dinner in the Shepard’s hut and had no problems! The hot is definitely the highlight for me and my partner, it was freezing outside but the hot was hot and kept us very warm, spent over 2 hours init each night!

The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and cosy, the towels and dressing gowns were luxurious. The hot tub was so relaxing - you can tell it was expensive, it even has a touch screen! The little bathroom was underfloor heated and smelt amazing. Clearly there has been no expense spared. The yurt even has an induction hob and air fryer! The location is beautiful, close to Hartington and the Manifold Way. It's centrally located and accessible to the whole Peak District. I would definitely stay again and I highly highly recommend it!
