Everything was amazing. The location was magical, surrounded by beautiful snow covered forest beside the lake and only 12 min walk from the nearest bus station. Enjoyed BBQ at Lappish BBQ hut. The sauna and shower were spacious and super clean .Milda cooperated in all respects to make our stay so memorable at igloo.

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. Central Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village are both a 10-minute drive away. Run by lovely, really helpful and down to earth people. We did the ice plunging in the river, which was done professionally and safe. Good selection of the continental breakfast and had a nice homely hearty dinner, which we booked in the morning.

Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.
