This tent's special feature is the fireplace. The tent provides a seating area, a barbecue, as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower and a bidet. The tent features lake views. We had a wonderful time at Tunis Tone. It’s not a fancy place, but the room was clean and tasteful, the shower had hot water and decent water pressure. But most importantly, the hospitality was top notch. Mohammed cared for our every need. He was thoughtful and attentive. He made us a fire and tea in the evening, and we had a large and tasty typical Egyptian breakfast in the morning. The ecolodge is located in the heart of tunis village in east walking distance to the main areas. We also greatly enjoyed the safari we booked with the hotel. It’s a peaceful place and a good value. Highly recommend.

First time ever in Fayoum and we thrilled by the hospitality and the generosity of the staff! Ramadan literally blew our minds away with his kindness. He made sure we had the best time. Got us dinner and took us to the lake by toktok at night. I asked him where to wash our clothes, next minute he washed and dried and folded them for us. My heart is full!

The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms spotless and comfortable, and the food absolutely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out, the team was attentive and thoughtful about every detail. The meals felt like elevated home-cooked dishes—rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. The Om Ali dessert, in particular, was truly out of this world—the best I’ve ever tasted. After an incredible dinner and a peaceful walk under the stars, I returned to my room and enjoyed one of the most relaxing nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind, I can’t recommend it enough

Large tents, cosy blankets, a campfire, set in a beautiful little village near to a waterfall and fun (scary) rides in the desert. Great breakfast. They arranged our laundry too. A great stay.
