My children and I spent 5 wonderful days in la Quebrada Ecolodge- the "beach huts" were perfectly equipped and decorated with such attention to detail and love, the beds were comfortable, the clear and warm water in the swimming pool so appeasing- it really felt like paradise, luxurious and homely at the same time. It is ideally located, 5-10 mins walk from the beach and from the centre with sodas and eateries serving delicious food. It is also 10-15 mins drive to Las Catalinas and other fabulous beaches on the coast. A big thank you to Carmen and Christian who surpassed all our expectations. They treated us with such care and generosity, arranged an amazing horseriding tour on the beach with Eddy and made themselves available to help us discover the beauty of this part of the country. EVERYTHING! I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We stayed for 2 nights in the premium king hut and wow... unreal! The hut itself was everything you could have wished, you didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. The view from any point of the resort will leave you speechless...This was alone worth the price. My spouse, who is celiac, notified Chris and his staff beforehand of the dietary restriction, they took the utmost care ensuring each of her meals were safe to eat. She couldn't have been in better hands! Visit this little gem before it blows up and is impossible to book! Kintiri was the perfect was to finish off our trip, we can't wait to come back!

Such a beautiful hostel with so much character. Very comfortable and clean, and the pool is so warm! Nice big kitchen and plenty of bathrooms for the dorms. It's really close to the beach as well! Really nice that they provide yoga mats for you to use for free as well.

Amazing place, quiet, private outdoor shower, little patio in front of every bungalow overlooking the pool, outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make coffee and breakfast, the hosts recommended and helped us book a catamaran tour for us for the next day that turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tamarindo! Highly recommend!!

It was lovely. We had the 3 bedroom villa. The restaurant is very good - delicious food and good prices. The location is perfect to explore the nearby beaches. The service was excellent.

When we arrived we were greated by the owner Luis, he was super kind and gave us an upgrade. He also gave us information about the area and we felt very welcome. We stayed for a night longer and were very with this decision. The caravan we stayed in was very clean and was perfect for two friends. Also the location of the stay is perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this stay to everyone!

This was such a lovely experiece! Great beds, clean room, hot shower, lovely staff, thermal pools and an armadillo hopping about in the garden... There were also some nice short hikes/trails to waterfalls on the property. It is however (considering the distance to the hot springs and some of the trails) very convenient to have a car with you when you stay at Guacipelin. We did not feel that the prices in the restaurant were extremely high: a pasta goes between 12-18 USD and a pizza (the best we've had outside of Italy!) is around 12 USD. The nearest soda (a 13 minute drive) charges a bit less for food, but the difference it not that much.
