Quiet area, with nature sounds. Very clean and the grounds are stunning. Great staff everywhere. So accommodating. Breakfast was very good.

It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

The well-equipped kitchenette features a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Super location in the middle of nature. Nice views , very convenient to observe the birds bei just sitting on the balcony. Easy checkin with code system.

We had three generations traveling together, so we filled all three tents. The setting was gorgeous and it offered a truly unique experience. It rained quite a bit, but that’s to be expected in a rainforest. If you’re prepared for it, it’s awesome. Glamping probably isn’t for everyone, but we loved it. The area offers loads of nature related things to do and we found pretty good restaurants nearby. We had little kids with us and could do the atv tour, but wish we would have figured out a way to do it in shifts.

The Bitzu dome is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. The dome itself is spacious and comfortable with all of the necessities right there. The host Alex is a very nice guy and very responsive and helpful. He worked with me through some traveling troubles due to a tropical storm and helped me out a lot. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. I highly recommend the Bitzu dome and Bijagua in general if you want to be somewhere a little less touristy and truly get to appreciate the Costa Rican Culture.
