Everything was fantastic! The location is stunning, our cottage was beautiful decorated and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even made a birthdaycake for my sons birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

Anniversary Weekend – The Hive at Misty Mountain Cloud Our anniversary weekend began tucked away in the most beautiful, serene corner of nature, The Hive at Misty Mountain Cloud. From the moment we arrived, it felt like time slowed down. Surrounded by misty forests, sweeping mountain views, and absolute quiet. The cabin itself is a perfect blend of modern luxury and natural warmth. Thoughtfully designed, intimate, and effortlessly stylish, every detail felt intentional from the cozy interiors to the large windows that invite the outdoors in.

We cannot say enough about this magical place. Tucked away between rolling green meadows, majestic mountains, and dramatic ocean cliffs, this hotel is like something straight out of a dream. Every morning we were greeted by the most breathtaking view – the ocean stretching endlessly beneath us, kissed by golden sunlight. We stayed in the Storm Hive – a beautiful, pod-like residence perched between the trees, right at the edge of the cliff. It felt like our own private cocoon, surrounded by nature, with panoramic views and complete tranquility. The design was thoughtful and cozy, with both an indoor and outdoor shower, and a private hot tub nestled under the trees. Soaking in the warm water with the sound of the ocean below and the stars above was pure magic. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the warmth of the people. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve ever met – kind, welcoming, always ready to help, and clearly passionate about creating a special experience for their guests. From our first meal, we found the perfect table outside – and stuck with it, rain or shine – with an unobstructed view of the ocean and sky. We loved it so much that the staff always knew where to find us. We affectionately named it Tafel der Sterren / Stôl Hviezd – “Table of Stars” in our native Dutch and Slovak – a little symbol of where we’re from and the magic we shared under the night sky. It wasn’t just a table – it was ours, and it became the heart of our stay. If you’re looking for a place that feeds your soul, captures your heart, and leaves you with memories to treasure forever, this is it. We are already dreaming of the day we return.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The roll out bed, hot tub and view were amazing. Can also recommend to do the quad bike tour to the lookout point.

i loved my stay at this lodge. beautiful garden, clean lodge and confortable beds. most importantly, the owners, Michelle and Matthew, are the nicest people. i definately recommend this place to anyone going there.

Nicely perched on the cliff with views of the ocean. The main building was a quaint little maison that is tastefully decorated. The pyramid was a totally unique accommodation with great outdoor soaking tub and beautifully decorated interiors. Most importantly, service staff were great. I was served by a staff named Tisha. She was service oriented and knows how to strike good conversation with her clients so as to make them feel comfortable, at home, and welcomed.

The outside hot tube, warm up with wood.. amazing! And the bar next to a nice evening fire! They give me a better room than the one I made the reservation!

Great private peaceful location with beautiful sea views

The sleeping area inside the cacoon is stable enough to have a good night's rest whilst still feeling that you are sleeping in a tree house. The hanging net between the leaves was our favorite area to relax and take it all in! Can't fault any of the facilties including the restuarant and bar
