A very nice and welcoming family made us feel at home at once. We felt safe walking around in the neighbourhood and met a lot of friendly sowetans. Lunghi, the owner of the house, has lived his whole life here and he is a very interesting and authentic guide with strong opinions about the development since apartheid.

food definately not great ordered a platter rib and chicken wings for R400 85 percent of the plate was chips, also the ribs were cold and the chips were hot, which makes me believe my orde3r ws standing for awhile, we waited over 1 and a half hours for service. the food was not chef standards at the cost that they were charging. We only ate there as we had just done a long journey and did not want to venture out as we were tired. otherwise the staff and rooms were lovely, location lovely
