Glamping Sites in Ko Kood

It's out of the way, but 5 minutes from one of the beach... in a forest, where you can have a nice birdy awakening... Ama, the manager or owner...(I didn't asked) is so sweet, you will melt... and if you compare to all the another places I stayed on this island, you will understand what I mean.. Simply, the best in 4 places I tried

After not being thrilled with our hotel, my partner and I were looking for a new place to stay as quickly as we could- on Christmas Day on Koh Kood :/ Not a lot of space on the island at that time, and we feared we'd be out of luck. I booked us a vacant spot at I-Lay House at a steep discount, sight-unseen, and hoped for the best. The lovely owner of the establishment came to pick us up personally and even organized a truck pick-up for us when she saw our luggage. As luck would have it, we were given the most recently made room, and it was incredible. The room (and bathroom/shower) was spotless and beautifully decorated, 20 paces from the shore. The beach was clean, with plenty of chairs and shade to share with the few other people around. Wouldn't have minded it being more busy even, as the other guests were by-and-large very friendly and fun to talk to. Staff, particularly the owner, were welcoming and eager to help with anything you needed. Food was delicious and presented beautifully, with the free breakfasts being a highlight. Romantic sunsets with stunning nature surroundings. Despite thinking we'd like to see what else the island had to offer, we were too enchanted by the food, views, and vibe of the area to stray farther than the beach chairs. It's no exaggeration to say that this place saved our vacation, and we'd be so happy to be able to return someday.

I absolutely love camping, but a glamping site with daily room cleaning, fluffy white towels, hot water, and beautiful design - that’s something special! The two true treasures of this resort are 1) the stunning beach with crystal-clear water and a gentle entrance to the sea, and 2) the wonderful staff: everyone, from the cleaner to every waiter, was kind, smiling, and always ready to help ❤️ This is the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Thank you for a perfect stay! 🌴✨

Very comfortable stay with all facilities. Breakfast was included in my package. On request vegetarian breakfast was provided. The beach near the dining is absolutely mesmerising. There are couple of grocery shops other restaurants /bars/coffee shops/ bike rental stores also near by making the place really easy to go around. The room had hot water, a jet spray in the front of the cottage, clean towels, drying rack, table, drinking water hair dryer, soaps, clothes shelf, chiller, tv, You can view the sunset from the beach ❤️ The service was excellent by the people. The restaurants close quite early, enquire before hand.
