The camper was tastefully decorated, well equipped, spotless clean, warm. The toilet and shower are arranged outside - all very clean but in winter it might be a challenge as it is cold. It is very quiet and we had a privet concert with our dinner (cicadas were playing 😁). In the morning you wake up with the birds. We bought some groceries for dinner and breakfast in the Intermarshe but you can ask the owner to do it for you for a set fee. Phillip picked us up from the shop as the camping is a bit off the track. He also dropped us the following day on the Rota Vincentina. We took the opportunity and walked the rescued dogs and fed the Vietnamese pigs. It was one of the best accommodation on our route. Thank you.

Amazing location, 5 mins from a great beach for a surf/swim, cafe on site and two amazing restaurants nearby (all open in the winter). The bungalow itself is extremely comfortable with all you could need to relax and enjoy, wifi is extremely fast too. If you like cats they have about 30 on site and many of them are friendly, can feed them too by asking at reception! All in all a wonderful place, best experience i’ve had during my travels so far. Would love to come back

Pretty much everything. Excellent location, remote while being close enough to amenities that getting supplies isn't an issue. The space allotted for the accommodation is plentiful, and distant enough from the other plots that you aren’t disturbed by others. The hosts were accessible, friendly, and informative. I would absolutely stay again if I'm in that region.

Absolutely fantastic hosts. Staying at Figuerinha was not renting a space but participating in the lives of wonderful people who opened their home for us and demonstrated true interest and genuine friendship towards us. We also loved the concept of the place: everything is designed to be natural, beautiful, sustainable and inclusive. It is important to know what to expect when you go there. The breakfasts are delicious with home made jams and natural foods at a round table which you share with other guests. At night tables are lit by candles and you are accompanied by beautiful music sang by frogs and cicadas. You are encouraged to use a community kitchen rather than your own in your apartment. This not a luxury hotel but a country house out among the nature. We fell in love with this place and the hosts. Paula and Alexandre are fantastic people who did literally everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience.
